EASYDOES TUTOR
Privacy & your data
EasyDoes Tutor stores the information you enter so it can run your teaching business: account and business details, students and contacts, timetable and attendance, invoices and payment status, expenses and optional receipt images.
If a tutor chooses to enable the optional Client Companion for a learner, Tutor also stores that learner’s chosen practice/study mode, weekly goal and tutor focus, plus session duration, optional reflection and confidence feedback. The Client Companion is not required to use EasyDoes Tutor and can be switched off by the tutor.
What we use it for
Only to provide Tutor, send the invoices/reminders you ask it to send, track payments and expenses, produce business summaries, support the optional Client Companion, support the service and keep it secure. Card details are entered and processed by Stripe; EasyDoes does not store card numbers or security codes.
Where it is processed
Supabase provides database, authentication and private file storage. Vercel hosts the application. Stripe processes card payments when enabled. Transactional email is processed by the configured email provider.
How long we keep it
Your working records are retained while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, application data will be removed after your identity is verified. Limited backup copies may remain until the infrastructure provider's normal backup cycle expires. You remain responsible for retaining any business or tax records the law requires you to keep.
Your choices
You can request a copy of your account data or ask for the account to be deleted. During beta, contact EasyDoes support from the email address used for the account. We will verify identity before acting on an export or deletion request.
Student information
Tutors should only enter information that is genuinely needed for teaching administration, invoicing or an enabled Client Companion, and must have an appropriate lawful basis for student and parent/guardian information.
